With Rebecca Quick, Noted Financial Journalist, Co-Anchor – CNBC Squawk Box
Podcast: |
Noted financial journalist, Becky Quick, has earned Warren Buffett’s respect over the past 11 years, and has been noted for her many in-depth interviews with Buffett. Becky’s from the MidWest, as of course is Buffett, and she thinks that commonality and some of her own daring helped her get on the inside track with the investing legend.
In a nice, at-length segment, Becky talks about the highlights of this year’s Berkshire Annual Meeting – their 50th AGM. She talks of Buffett and Munger’s tough management style, how they motivate CEOs at their companies, the two names that most came up on Buffett’s succession plans as CEO of Berkshire, investing in IBM, synergies within the Berkshire portfolio, stock market valuation, whether the Federal Reserve might raise interest rates, minimum wage and a lot more. She also shares some of Munger’s incorrigible witticisms and insights from Bill Gates who she also met there.
